That depends on the color of the GLO-TOOB. Red has 6 LED’s, amber has 5 LED’s, blue, 

green and white have 3 LED’s. Infra-red has 6 LED’s – both wavelengths – and the Lithium 

GLO-TOOB will have 3 LED’s across the whole range of colors.
